Abstract(s)
Nos dias de hoje, é importante olhar para o mundo da indústria como uns dos setores mais
importantes para qualquer economia. Para clarificar esta ideia de setor importante ir-se-á
estudar nesta dissertação a Indústria 4.0 que, para alguns autores, é considerada a nova
revolução industrial. Irão ser abordados os principais objetivos, benefícios, desafios e algumas
ferramentas que esta implica na produção.
Uma das ferramentas utilizadas na I 4.0 é a Realidade Aumentada que é uma tecnologia que
faz a interligação entre a realidade e o mundo virtual através da sobreposição do mundo virtual
sobre o mundo real. Este é o principal foco desta dissertação, saber no que consiste, na sua
história, as suas aplicações práticas e identificar os problemas que possam existir na sua
implementação.
Também será apresentado um caso prático que pretende mostrar de que forma é que esta
tecnologia pode ser aplicada, nomeadamente, no setor do ensino, onde é desenvolvida uma
aplicação que permita ao utilizador ver meios de transporte em 3D a partir de imagens com a
ajuda da interface de Realidade Aumentada.

Will be addressed the main goals, benefits, challenges and some work tools that I4.0 applies on production. One of these tools is the Augmented Reality that is a technology that connect the virtual world and the real world, so we can see virtual objects in real world. This is the main goal of master thesis, know what consist, in your history, your practice applications and look for some problems that could exist in your implementation. Besides that, will be present a case study that aims to show how this technology could be applied, namely, education system, where going to be shown one application where the user can see means of transport in 3D with the help of images and the interface of Augmented Reality.
