Abstract(s)
O objectivo deste relatório intitulado de “catarata, insuficiência de convergência e adaptação
de lentes de contacto multifocais” é descrever e analisar o estágio desenvolvido durante 3
meses na Óptica Flavea, em Chaves. Este relatório encerra dois anos de estudo no mestrado
na área de Optometria e Ciências da Visão, sendo que o estágio realizado nesta óptica me
permitiu adquirir confiança, desenvolver conhecimentos e competências profissionais
fundamentais para a minha evolução não só como pessoa, mas também como futura
profissional.
O presente relatório está organizado em cinco capítulos, sendo que no primeiro capítulo é
feita uma breve introdução dando destaque à caracterização da instituição onde foi realizado
o estágio. No segundo, terceiro e quarto capítulo, são apresentados ao pormenor os três casos
clínicos que têm como temas catarata, insuficiência de convergência e adaptação de lentes
de contacto multifocais prospectivamente. Para cada um dos casos clínicos, está apresentada
uma breve introdução teórica, seguida dos dados clínicos, diagnóstico, tratamento e
seguimento. No último capítulo é feita uma conclusão acerca do período de estágio realizado.
This report entitled “cataract, convergence insufficiency and adaptation of multifocal contact lenses” aims at describing and analysing the practice developed during three months in Óptica Flavea, in Chaves. This report encloses two years of master study in the area of Optometry and Vision Science, as the practice developed in this optician store allowed me to acquire trust, develop knowledge and professional skills essential to my own evolution, not only as a person, but also as a future professional. This report is organized in five chapters, wherein the first is done a brief introduction highlighting the institution description where the practice was performed. In the second, third and fourth chapters, there is a detailed description of the three clinical cases which have themes as cataract, convergence insufficiency and adaptation of multifocal contact lenses prospectively. There is a short summary, followed by the clinical data, diagnosis, treatment and follow up for each clinical case. In the last chapter there is a conclusion about the period of time when the practice was performed.
