Abstract(s)
The present report concerns the activities performed by the student Márcia Sá during 9 months of internship at STRYIAH Portugal, from September 3, 2018 to June 2, 2019. This internship reinforces the academic knowledge acquired in the Master of Branding and Fashion Design, as well as the experience in business environment with real clients. In an initial phase is made a contextualization of the internship and the company, the objectives and some information about the developed projects. After this brief introduction to the internship report, it is divided into three chapters. The first two chapters maintain the same organizational structure, starting with a biographical review of the topic at hand (chapter 1- supply chain management; chapter 2- product development). The following are the projects prepared by the student in business. The projects presented are of different types and based on knowledge acquired throughout the Master of Branding and Fashion Design. Chapter 1 presents two projects that are included in the scope of supply chain management. Chapter 2 presents four projects that fall under the theme of the product development process. When it comes to supply chain management, companies are now looking to adopt procedures to make their products stand out in the marketplace. With a competitive market they have to be flexible, enhance processes and ensure customer quality and pricing. This is where the importance of the supply chain management concept is seen. Regarding PDP (Product Development Process), this is defined by several authors as a cluster of activities organized in phases that work market information with the objective of producing a product of value to the consumer. These first two chapters end with a discussion where a comparative analysis between theory and practice is performed. The third chapter describes the conclusions about the stage itself and finally the general conclusions, that is, where theory and practice will be analyzed and compared.
