Abstract(s)
Escola Secundária Amato Lusitano, no ano letivo 2022/2023, numa turma do 11º ano
This Pedagogical Internship Report is part of the internship curricular unit of the 2nd Cycle of Study of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education at the University of Beira Interior. The report consists of two chapters and aims to report on all the work carried out during the teaching internship, which took place at the Amato Lusitano School Group, in the district of Castelo Branco. The first chapter concerns the Pedagogical Intervention, where it was possible to put into practice all the knowledge I had acquired so far through my academic training, but essentially to report on all the skills and experience in my training as a teacher. This chapter describes the process of intervention and reflection that took place at the João Roiz Primary School, in the 2022/2023 school year, in 5th and 6th grade classes aged between 10 and 12, and at the Amato Lusitano Secondary School, in the 2022/2023 school year, in an 11th grade class on the Computer Programmer Technician Professional Course, aged between 16 and 20. The second chapter concerns Research and Pedagogical Innovation, where the research topic was developed to study the relationship between physical exercise, eating habits and school success. This study took place at the Amato Lusitano Secondary School, with primary school classes. The results show how important it is for students to eat a healthy diet, which is fundamental for physical and mental performance, as it provides the energy and nutrients needed for physical activity, as well as for healthy development and growth. In summary, it can be considered that both physical activity and an appropriate and diversified diet contribute to young people's success at school.
