Abstract(s)
O que se propõe é o desenvolvimento de um projeto de malhas, da sustentabilidade, e da
ligação de ambas, englobando a sua evolução histórica, estudo enquanto material (tipo de
fibras, fios, estruturas, padrões), aplicações variadas no vestuário, conforto, estilo de vida,
potencialidade de criatividade, inovação e design, marcas e designers marcantes. Será feita
também uma análise do mercado médio-alto do vestuário em malha, para além de um estudo
sobre a metodologia projetual: Munari, Bonsiepe, Baxter.
Por fim, foi realizado um projeto com metodologia própria, adaptada com base no estudo
previamente feito. Houve também um enquadramento na filosofia e condições (materiais e
tecnologias) de uma empresa de acolhimento.
A nível projetual, foram investigadas diferentes estruturas de malha com diferentes matérias
primas sustentáveis, as quais levaram às estruturas finais pretendidas para a coleção final.
Houve uma discussão do projeto tendo como pano de fundo a revisão bibliográfica, isto é,
confrontar e justificar os resultados do projeto com a revisão bibliográfica.
What is proposed is the development of a knit design project, sustainability, and the connection of both, encompassing its historical evolution, study as a material (type of fibers, threads, structures, patterns), varied applications in clothing, comfort, lifestyle, creativity potential, innovation and design, outstanding brands and designers. There will also be done an analysis of the medium-high knitwear market, as well as a study on the design methodology: Munari, Bonsiepe, Baxter. Finally, a project was carried out with its own methodology, adapted based on the study previously done. There was also a framing in the philosophy and conditions (materials and technologies) of a host company. At a project level, different mesh structures with different sustainable raw materials were investigated, leading to the final structures intended for the final collection. There was a debate about the project concerning the background of the bibliographic review, that is, to confront and justify the project results with the bibliographic review.
