Abstract(s)
qualidade do produto.
Due to technological advances, an increasingly competitive market and the greater demand from customers, companies feel obliged to find methodologies to improve their production processes, making them more flexible, efficient and effective, in order to respond to market needs. The Lean philosophy allows us to respond to these needs, since it allows us to support several tools to analyze, detect and eliminate waste, contributing to cost reduction and improvement of product quality. This dissertation was developed in an industrial environment, in a luxury parts polishing company, at Mepisurfaces. It aims to monitor the entire production process of the bracelet line, in order to analyze and identify possible means of improvement, in order to provide greater quality, efficiency of the production process and eliminate waste. Taking as a starting point the diagnosis of the entire production process and the knowledge compiled through a bibliographic review on the subject, proceeded to the analysis and identification of possible points for improvement. In the next phase, proposals for improvement were presented, some of which were implemented, which achieved these objectives, increasing the efficiency of the production process and the quality of the product.
