Natacha Merritt produziu uma das mais assertivas obras no domínio do sexualmente explícito, representando uma incontornável ruptura no meio artístico. Os 'Digital Diaries' são um expressivo conjunto de fotografias digitais autorrepresentativas, em variadas cenas íntimas e disponibilizadas publicamente na internet. Deste registo paradoxalmente incógnito, foi catapultada para a esfera restrita da "high-art", através do gigante editorial Taschen, com uma elegante edição de 300 000 exemplares, reacendendo a discussão no binómio arte/ pornografia.
Natacha Merritt produced one of the most assertive works in the sexually explicit domain, representing an inescapable rupture in the artistic environment. ‘Digital Diaries’ are an expressive set of self-representative digital photographs, in various intimate scenes and made publicly available on the Internet. From this paradoxically incognito record, she was thrown to the restricted sphere of “high-art”, through the editorial giant Taschen, with a graceful edition of 300 000 copies, reigniting the discussion in the binomial art/ pornography.
