Este documento foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio Pedagógico,
que faz parte do 2º Ciclo do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico
e Secundário da Universidade da Beira Interior. O objetivo é demonstrar a prática de
ensino supervisionada, que foi realizada, durante o ano letivo de 2023/2024, na Escola
Secundária Amato Lusitano. O Relatório de Estágio está dividido em dois capítulos. O
primeiro, intitulado “Intervenção Pedagógica”, tem como finalidade apresentar o
trabalho desenvolvido com os diferentes ciclos de ensino; relatar as atividades realizadas
ao longo do ano letivo; descrever a participação no Desporto Escolar; evidenciar o
trabalho de assessoria à Direção de Turma e demonstrar a integração do Professor
Estagiário com os membros da comunidade escolar.
O segundo, “Investigação e Inovação Pedagógica”, onde se pretende expor o Projeto de
Investigação elaborado durante o ano e que teve como propósito avaliar o Impacto do
Treino Intervalado de Alta Intensidade (HIIT) no sucesso académico de estudantes
portugueses. O estudo contou com a participação de quarenta e nove estudantes do 11º
ano de escolaridade da Escola Secundária Amato Lusitano. Para este estudo, foi utilizado
um programa de treino ao longo de um período de 8 semanas. Como forma de comparar
as classificações dos alunos, foram utilizadas as classificações finais dos participantes nas
disciplinas de Português, Matemática, Língua Estrangeira e Educação Física. Dos
resultados obtidos através do Projeto de Investigação, foi possível concluir que o treino
HIIT pode ser utilizado para obter melhorias significativas nas capacidades físicas dos
adolescentes, influenciando positivamente a sua saúde geral e bem-estar. Ainda assim,
não foram encontradas evidências sobre o impacto imediato do HIIT nas classificações
académicas.
This document was drawn up as part of the Pedagogical Internship Curricular Unit, which is part of the 2nd Cycle of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education at the University of Beira Interior. The aim is to demonstrate the supervised teaching practice that was carried out during the 2023/2024 academic year at the Amato Lusitano Secondary School. The Internship Report is divided into two chapters. The first, entitled "Pedagogical Intervention", aims to present the work carried out with the different teaching cycles; report on the activities carried out throughout the school year; describe the participation in School Sports; highlight the work of advising the Class Management and demonstrate the integration of the Trainee Teacher with the members of the school community. The second, "Research and Pedagogical Innovation", aims to present the research project carried out during the year, the purpose of which was to assess the impact of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on the academic success of Portuguese students. Forty-nine 11th grade students from the Amato Lusitano Secondary School took part in the study. For this study, a training programme was used over a period of 8 weeks. As a way of comparing the students' grades, the participants' final grades in Portuguese, Math’s, Foreign Language and Physical Education were used. From the results obtained through the Research Project, it was possible to conclude that HIIT training can be used to obtain significant improvements in the physical capacities of adolescents, positively influencing their general health and well-being. Even so, no evidence was found on the immediate impact of HIIT on academic grades.
