O processo criativo e artĂstico de uma animação engloba vĂĄrias fases, sendo que a prĂ©-produção Ă© uma das que mais condiciona o sucesso da obra, uma vez que Ă© nela que todos os elementos que a compĂ”em sĂŁo concebidos e pensados previamente em detalhe.
Este projeto descreve e explica o processo criativo e artĂstico de uma animação 2D intitulada RĂșcus e Senhor Alfredo, nomeadamente a sua prĂ©-produção. Pretende-se que este projeto seja o inĂcio daquilo que serĂĄ uma web sĂ©rie, pelo que o trabalho desenvolvido refere-se ao primeiro episĂłdio.
Começa-se por apresentar a ideia inicial que originou a animação e por explicar como foi feito o desenvolvimento da mesma. De seguida, são apresentados o guião literårio que resultou do desenvolvimento da ideia, bem como o visual design, onde estão inseridos o character design e o background design. Estes passos culminam depois no storyboard, ao qual foi dado grande importùncia neste processo de pré-produção, uma vez que é um dos elementos mais exaustivamente trabalhados. Apresenta-se ainda um rough animatic, que embora sendo apresentado como um work in progress, consegue dar ao animador uma ideia do ritmo em que a história se deve desenrolar.
Assim, neste projeto conseguiu-se realizar a primeira e mais crĂtica fase dum processo criativo e artĂstico, a prĂ©-produção. Pretende-se que o resultado deste trabalho seja completo o suficiente para que qualquer animador (mesmo que nĂŁo esteja, Ă partida, ciente da histĂłria) possa proceder com segurança e clareza Ă animação da potencial web sĂ©rie RĂșcus e Senhor Alfredo.
The creative and artistic process of an animation encompasses several phases, being the pre-production one of them that most conditions the workâs success, since it is in it that all the elements that compose the animation are conceived and thought through previously in detail. This project describes and explains the creative and artistic process of a 2D animation entitled RĂșcus e Senhor Alfredo, namely its pre-production. It is intended that this project will be the start of a web series, thus the work developed refers to the first episode. The project begins with the presentation of the initial idea that originated the animation and with the explanation of how it was further developed. Next, the literary script that resulted from the idea development is presented, as well as the visual design, where the character design and background design are included. These steps then culminate in the storyboard, to which a big importance was given in this pre-production process, since it is one of the most extensively worked elements. A rough animatic is still presented, which despite being a work in progress, manages to give the animator an idea of the pace to which the story should unfold. Therefore, in this project it was possible to accomplish the first and most critical phase of a creative process, the pre-production. It is intended that the result from this work is complete enough so that any animator (even if it is not aware of the story at the beginning) can proceed, being sure and having clarity, to the animation of the potential web series RĂșcus e Senhor Alfredo.
