Abstract(s)
Assim, o presente trabalho dissertativo visa analisar a
Do livro Poemas extraímos quinze
integral.
National unity is one of the decisive factors for people in the fight against colonial domination and, therefore, must constitute one of the priorities of political and social action. In a colonial context, establishing Angolan national unity promoted a long-dormant nation project. Thus, the present dissertation work aims to analyze the way the desire for a national unity and the love for Angola in the poetry of Alda Lara are expressed. Consequently, to understand and situate the author's writing and establish a relationship between the poems and the historical context in which they were written we use semioticcontextual theory and structural theory to analyze and interpret the elements within the poems, with the aim to show the purpose of their use. In this sense, in the first chapter, we contextualize the author's writing in time and space, also referring to the literary movements that influenced her writing. In the second chapter, dedicated to Alda Lara and literature in the feminine, we focus on the author, on her biography, on her participation in the House of Students of the Empire and the poetic characteristics of her work. Finally, in the last chapter we seek to show the active participation of the writer, through poetry, in the struggle for an Angola free of misery, poverty, wars, suffering and colonial yoke, looking forward to a different future for coming generations. From the book Poems we extract fifteen texts analyzed in the different chapters of this work and attached in its complete form.
