Abstract(s)
desenvolvimento equilibrado do local.
arquitetónica no meio rural.
This dissertation seeks to study a root project for rural tourism in Minho. What differs from this project from the rest is that it aims to be a proposal adapted and framed in contemporary times. Considering the role of tourism by addressing conceptual aspects of the scope and some weaknesses of its system can play a key role in the evolution of villages and their tourism activities, taking into account the balanced development of the site. The restructuring of the rural architectural heritage, needs a reform in its approach, it must be carried out in a more conscious and responsible way by architects. This dissertation will link climate change and architectural design in rural areas. The tourist complex designed here is located in the heart of the village of Monsul, and aims to be important for regional and local development. Rural tourism is sought to break the routine of everyday life and the main factor for people to return to the countryside. The purpose of this project is to contribute to the problem of urban dispersion, abandonment, economic degradation and the ageing of the population. The coming of young people can raise new uses of the territory and bridge tourism and leisure. In a way, it proposes an architectural solution that adapts to climate change, and that is able to consolidate the place as an attractive pole, from the tourist and social point of view, that serves in a future to help strengthen the economy of the parish.
