Abstract(s)
bens essenciais à vida, a água.
desenvolveram, e ainda desenvolvem, ações educativas, cujo objetivo principal é a
The reality we live in today shows that the path we have been following for around 50 years is not the right one and is even putting one of life's essentials, water, at risk. We're talking about a period of 50 years, because experts and researchers have been doing their job to alert the entire population to this risk. These experts have been joined by countless organizations and companies, both national and international, with the mission of making all the reliable and fair information surrounding the water issue available to the entire population. Working as a team, all of them have developed, and are still developing, educational actions, the main aim of which is to raise public awareness of this worrying issue. During the investigation and research for this project, it became apparent that the activities carried out by these organizations are, above all, more theoretical. This is exacerbated by the fact that they are always done in the same way, which causes feelings of boredom and lack of attention to the subject. This is where the field of multimedia design, linked to new technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence, can support this global mission and help create unique, interactive, immersive and educational experiences. This project is presented as a proposal for an immersive experience as part of a museum. The aim will be to reinforce and improve the effectiveness of the message that all entities want to convey. It is a project that aims to propose something innovative, unique and motivating enough to cause changes in the population's risk-taking behavior, calling for a more sustainable future. In this sense, it is also a project that aims to promote SDGs 6, 11 and 12.
