O desenvolvimento do fabrico de moldes automáticos para a injecção de plásticos tem registado um crescimento ao longo dos últimos anos, essencialmente no mercado de exportação, que apresenta, cada vez mais, escolhas diferenciadoras e exigentes, fabricando moldes em aço ou alumínio consoante o mercado a que se destinam.
Com a evolução da Indústria e o aumento da competitividade no sector da Indústria de Moldes, qualquer organização vê-se forçada a melhorar a sua Produção, ou seja, é obrigada a acompanhar esse crescimento, a fim de manter e não perder qualquer um dos seus clientes.
Esta Dissertação tem como objectivo principal o Diagnóstico das Causas de Paragem durante a Produção do Molde, para que, desta forma, seja possível melhorar o tempo da sua produção, bem como a diminuição de paragens nesse processo.
Como Goldratt refere, diagnosticar os gargalos, para que a Empresa alcance sem nenhum contratempo a sua Meta.
