O presente relatório reporta as atividades desempenhadas pela aluna Sara Monteiro ao longo de
12 meses na empresa Twintex, entre 2 de Janeiro de 2019 a 2 de Janeiro de 2020, para a obtenção
do grau de Mestre em Design de Moda. Este estágio apresenta o percurso percorrido pela aluna,
reforçando os conhecimentos em âmbito académico que foram adquiridos ao longo da
Licenciatura e Mestrado em Design de Moda na Universidade da Beira Interior, tal como a
experiência em ambiente empresarial de forma a atender os objetivos propostos.
A empresa Twintex encontra-se, sedeada na cidade do Fundão e foca-se na criação de moldes,
desenvolvimento de tecidos em parcerias com empresas internacionalmente conhecidas e na
confeção do produto final. A Twintex é reconhecida pela confeção de vestuário para senhoras e
homens de alta qualidade, com especial enfoque em peças como blazers e casacos.
Ao longo do relatório será feita uma contextualização da empresa e do estágio assim como os seus
objetivos. De igual modo também serão descritos os projetos bem como todas as tarefas realizadas
pela mesma. Desta forma, a aluna aliou a aprendizagem obtida no estágio ao projeto e
desenvolveu uma pesquisa mais pormenorizada da fase do Desenvolvimento do Produto
comtemplando o seu término com a criação de uma coleção cápsula dedicada à empresa Twintex.
Através dos conteúdos escritos pretende-se demonstrar a importância do estágio curricular para
a formação profissional e para a obtenção do grau de mestre em Design de Moda.
The main objective of this report is to present the professional experience of the student Sara Monteiro over 12 months at the company Twintex, between January 2nd, 2019 and January 2nd, 2020, based in the city of Fundão, to obtain a master's degree in Fashion Design. This internship reinforces the academic knowledge acquired during the Degree and Master in Fashion Design at the University of Beira Interior, as well as the experience in the business environment. The Twintex company is based in the city of Fundão and focuses on creating patterns, developing fabrics in partnerships with internationally known weavers and making the finished product. Twintex is recognized for its high-quality apparel for men and women, focusing heavily on blazers and coats. Throughout the report, the company will be made known, contextualizing the internship, and describing the knowledge acquired throughout it. In parallel to the internship, a research on Product Development was developed. The report was also completed by the creation of a capsule collection dedicated to the Twintex company. To combine the learning obtained in the internship with the project, the student elaborates the entire product development of the collection. The aim of this report is to demonstrate the importance of an internship to the professional training and to obtain a master's degree in Fashion Design.
