Abstract(s)
Audi Q8 e BMW 530d).
Nowadays, we have several vehicle options for the daily circulation of the population. The most common option is to use vehicles powered by fossil fuels. With the advancement of technology, a few years ago, possibilities for the use of electric vehicles emerged. There are many aspects to be analyzed between these two types of vehicles. For example, travel acquisition costs, travel costs, taxes and pollution. In the present work, a simulation was carried out in the Simulink environment, where the behavior of an electric vehicle was observed and analysed considering three types of road paths and driving: in the city, on the national road/complementary route and on the highway. After, three diferente electric cars (Renault Zoe, Audi Q4 e-tron and Tesla Model 3 Performance) were analysed and the travel expenses were calculated. Those expenses were compared with the ones of three conventional equivalent vehicles (Renault Clio, Audi Q8 and BMW 530d).
