Controlo das emoções em contexto educativo: adaptação de um programa de intervenção dirigido à emoção de cólera

| dc.description.abstract | Ao longo dos tempos a importância atribuída às emoções tem aumentado nas sociedades, com várias ciências a debruçar-se sobre o tema. Nem sempre, no quotidiano, a separação entre os termos emoções e sentimentos é efectuada, uma vez que os indivíduos se referem frequentemente a sentimentos como emoções. Por outro lado, a definição de emoções não é, ainda, muito clara, variando de acordo com a ciência que a estuda. Para o trabalho efectuado foi utilizada a visão das emoções do modelo cognitivo-comportamentalista, onde as aptidões dos jovens são enfatizadas sob a forma de um programa didáctico. A importância da aplicação de programas de intervenção na gestão de emoções, essencialmente da cólera, nas escolas é enorme, uma vez que os fenómenos de bullying têm aumentado por todo o país. Com este programa possibilita-se aos jovens que estes apreendam mecanismos de comportamento alternativos à cólera, mesmo em situações sociais de confronto ou conflito. O programa de intervenção foi estruturado em 10 sessões, nas quais se aplicaram diversos instrumentos de avaliação das emoções dos jovens. Verificou-se uma grande disponibilidade dos jovens para aprender os conceitos e alternativas comportamentais apresentadas, levando à melhoria no comportamento dos jovens e aumento da compreensão do fenómeno de bullying. Os objectivos a que nos propusemos no início do trabalho foram cumpridos e a importância desta terapia para a redução dos fenómenos de bullying nas escolas portuguesas é clara. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Over time the importance that has been given to emotions has been increased in societies, with many sciences studying this subject. Not always, in our everyday there is a separation made between the meanings emotions and feelings. On the other hand, the definition of emotions is, still, not very clear, and it varies according to the science which is studying it. For the realized work it was used the vision of the emotions of the model cognitivebehaviourist, where the teenagers skills are emphasized under the form of a didactic program. The importance of applications of programmes in interventions of managing emotions, mainly of anger, in schools is huge, since the bullying phenomenon has increased over all the country. With this program we can allow teenagers to learn mechanisms of alternative behaviour to anger, even in social situation of confrontation and conflict. The intervention program was structured in ten sessions, in which were used different evaluation instruments of the teenagers’ emotions. There was checked a great availability of the teenagers to learn the presented concepts and behavioural alternatives, that lead to an improvement of the teenagers’ behaviour and increase the understanding of the bullying phenomenon. The goals that we have proposed at the beginning of the work were fulfilled and the importance of this therapy to reduce the bullying phenomenon in Portuguese school is clear. | |
