Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação é assumida como um hino ao défice cognitivo dos alunos que, frequentemente, são tidos como incapazes de atingirem os objectivos que nos propomos. Através da leitura e interpretação do texto O Nabo Gigante, as nossas crianças têm assim oportunidade de revelar a capacidade de fazerem inferências altas ou baixas relacionadas com o texto em questão. A partir do modelo de Giasson e Irwin, poderá o educador aperceber-se do sentido e profundidade que o aluno confere ao interagir com o texto lido, ou seja que tipo de acomodação ou resolução no acto de compreensão.
This essay is assumed as an anthem to the cognitive deficits of students who are often seen as incapable of achieving the goals proposed. Through the reading and comprehension of the text O Nabo Gigante, our children are able to prove their ability to make inferences related to the text in question. From the model of Giasson and Irwin, the educator can understand the meaning and depth that the student confers by interacting with the text read, that is, what type of accommodation or resolution in the act of understanding.
