Abstract(s)
DP= 14,67 ± 0,52) que integravam o plantel sub-15 do SCC durante a época
This internship report is a summary of the experience acquired over the time spent at Sporting Clube da Covilhã in the 2021/2022 sports season. The intervention was carried out at the beginner level, as head coach, and at the junior level, as assistant coach, having carried out some work with the main team. The internship report is composed by a first part that focuses on all the work developed throughout the season and on the organization where the internship took place. The second part of the internship report focuses on the scientific investigation carried out, in the form of a case study, in which the purpose was to try to understand how the diagnosis can provide us with indicators on the performance of each player, particularly in players who play in a more forward position on the match field. In the present study, the sample is composed by 6 forward players, all of them male and aged between 14 and 15 years old (Mean SD = 14.67 ± 0.52) who were part of the sub 15 squad of the SCC during the 2021/2022 season and who have played at least 80 minutes of the game (equivalente time for a complete soccer match at their level). Diagnostic tests were performed, namely the speed test and the dribbling test, which were used in the present scientific investigation. During the season, the number of goals and assists of each player, as well as the number of minutes played during the season, were counted. After carrying out the study, it was concluded that the players with the best results in the 20m speed tests, scored more goals in each game they played and that the players with the best results in the dribbling test, presented a greater number of goals scored and also the sum of goals scored and assists made for every 80 minutes of play.
