Este projeto consiste no processo criativo da direção de arte para a curta-metragem Kiva. Neste
relatório, irei explicitar, passo a passo, o trabalho de conceção de personagens, adereços e
cenários, partindo da análise do guião, passando pela pesquisa de referências, pelos sketches
iniciais, pelo desenvolvimento de protótipos e culminando na arte final.
O resultado deste processo deu origem a um artbook que apresenta, em textos
contextualizantes e explicativos e imagens detalhadas, os vários elementos criados e a
metodologia adotada
This project consists of the creative process of the art department for the short Kiva. In this report, I’m going to explain, step by step, the design work for the characters, props and backgrounds. Starting from the analysis of the script going through the research of references, for the initial sketches, the development of prototypes and culmination on the final art. The outcome of this process originated an artbook that presents, in contextualizing and explanatory texts with detailed art, various elements created and the adopted methodology.
