Abstract(s)
No presente trabalho pretendemos estudar a Leucemia linfática
Lisboa Francisco Gentil.
Doctors yearn for infallible diagnoses that make them gain time against the cunning of malignancies. Patients want answers powerful, concise, to rescue them. The medicine should be the union of art to the ingenuity and physicians must skillfully use all the reinforcements that science provides. Today the practice of evidence-based medicine allows us to approach this. In this paper we will study the chronic lymphatic leukemia (CLL), an oncologic disease, focusing on the importance of a multidisciplinary diagnosis that enables us to diagnose, track and treat a patient properly. In this connection a case has been studied and were reviewed from the standpoint of laboratory, fifty-seven new cases were admitted in 2009 in the Department of Pathology of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology Francisco Gentil de Lisboa. As the number of laboratory tests grows exponentially over time, we would like to raise awareness of the importance of their application to be made in a more pragmatic way, in order to confirm the diagnosis likely.
