Abstract(s)
Nos capítulos dedicados ao trabalho científico, dada a importância da proatividade do professor
no ensino da Matemática, apresenta-se um olhar pela forma como o pensamento algébrico e o
pensamento geométrico são desenvolvidos. É feita uma incursão pela história da Geometria,
passando pela Geometria Euclidiana e detalhando o objetivo e conceitos fundamentais da Geometria
Analítica. Inclui-se a resolução de alguns problemas que mostram a aplicação destes
conceitos. Faz-se também referência a alguns pontos relativos ao Seminário I e Seminário II que
evidenciam a arte de fazer Matemática e a simbiose entre a Álgebra e a Geometria.
No capítulo destinado à Prática de Ensino Supervisionado, apresenta-se uma descrição do Estágio
Pedagógico, com indicação das principais atividades extracurriculares desenvolvidas, seminários
e cursos de formação frequentados e incluem-se as planificações de seis aulas subordinadas aos
temas: Equações, Circunferência, Trigonometria do Triângulo Retângulo do Novo Programa de
Matemática do Ensino Básico - 9ºano e Introdução ao Cálculo Diferencial II e Trigonometria
e Números Complexos do Programa de Matemática A do 12º ano, para os Cursos Científico-
Humanísticos de Ciências e Tecnologias e Ciências Sócioeconómicas.
Given the importance of the teacher’s proactivity in Mathematics teaching, the chapters concerning scientific work are dedicated to how algebraic thought and geometric thought are developed. An incursion into Geometry history is carried out, focusing on Euclidean Geometry and specifying the objective and fundamental concepts of Analytic Geometry. The resolution of some problems, which show the application of these concepts, is included. Some aspects concerning Seminar I and Seminar II are also referred, highlighting the art of doing mathematics and the symbiosis between algebra and geometry. In the chapter dedicated to Supervised Teaching Practice, a description of the pedagogic training is presented, with the indication of the main extracurricular activities developed, seminars and training courses attended and the planning of six classes is also included under the following themes: Equations, Circumference, Right Triangle Trigonometry from the New Mathematics Program for the 9th grade, and Introduction to Differential Calculus II, and Trigonometry and Complex Numbers from the Mathematics A Program for the 12th grade of Scientific and Humanistic Courses, in the areas of Science and Technology and Socioeconomic Sciences.
