O presente trabalho investiga a polĆtica de InternacionalizaĆ§Ć£o do Ensino Superior
concebida e implementada pela UniĆ£o Europeia, o Processo de Bolonha, em diferentes
paĆses membros ā nomeadamente Alemanha, FranƧa e Portugal ā e, em particular, as
estratƩgias adotadas pela Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), em Portugal, para
incorporar as aƧƵes estabelecidas pelo Processo em suas prƔticas e estruturas
institucionais. A pesquisa prosseguirĆ” com um exame da experiĆŖncia de
internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o no ensino superior brasileiro, com foco na estrutura e nas aƧƵes
implantadas na Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), em Minas Gerais.
Posteriormente, far-se-Ć” uma anĆ”lise comparativa das polĆticas nas duas universidades
usando a matriz SWOT e entrevista, com o objetivo de determinar quais polĆticas foram
bem-sucedidas e quais, dentre essas, podem ser adaptadas para a realidade da
universidade brasileira, a fim de orientar um plano estratĆ©gico de internacionalizaĆ§Ć£o
para a instituiĆ§Ć£o.
This work investigates the policy of Internationalization of Higher Education conceived and implemented by the European Union, the Bologna Process, in different member countries ā namely Germany, France and Portugal ā and, in particular, the strategies adopted by the University of Beira Interior (UBI), in Portugal, to incorporate the actions established by the Process into its institutional practices and structures. The research will continue with an examination of the internationalization experience in Brazilian higher education, focusing on the structure and actions implemented at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), in Minas Gerais. Subsequently, a comparative analysis of the policies in the two universities will be carried out using the SWOT matrix and interview, in order to determine which policies were successful and which, among these, can be adapted to the reality of the Brazilian university, aiming to guide a strategic internationalization plan for the institution.
