Abstract(s)
Este trabalho tem como seu auge a criação de uma equação para obtenção do ângulo de atrito de solos residuais graníticos a partir dos seus parâmetros de identificação.
Assim, numa fase inicial efetuou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a temática em estudo, num primeiro momento sobre a pesquisa de equações na literatura geotécnica que permitam obter o angulo de atrito de solos arenosos a partir de parâmetros mais fáceis de obter nomeadamente a partir de ensaios de laboratório, como é o caso de análises granulométricas, e num segundo momento pesquisaram-se aspetos geotécnicos de solos residuais uma vez que é sobre estes que incide o trabalho.
Numa fase seguinte efetuaram-se amostragens de solos residuais na região da Covilhã, para as amostras serem posteriormente sujeitas a ensaios de laboratório, nomeadamente granulometrias, Limites de Atterberg e ensaios de corte direto. Após os resultados efetuaram-se estudos estatísticos no sentido de obterem correlações múltiplas que tivessem fiabilidade em termos de sua aplicação.
No seguimento, as equações obtidas são aplicadas com os resultados do presente estudo no sentido de averiguar se os ângulos de atrito que se obtêm nas mesmas são similares aos obtidos experimentalmente pelo ensaio de corte, além de se compararem também os resultados das mesmas com os obtidos por equações de diferentes autores.
Por fim, no último capítulo apresentam-se principais conclusões e tecem-se algumas considerações sobre a aplicabilidade das equações.
This work has as its pinnacle creating an equation for obtaining the friction angle of granitic residual soils from their identification parameters. By this way, on a first step was performed a bibliographic search about this subject, on first plan by searching on geotechnical literature about equations that can give the friction angel of sand soils by easy finding parameters by some laboratory tests like grain sizes analyses. On a second moment researched to geotechnical aspects of residual soils as it is on these that focuses the work. The second step was collecting some samples of residual soils in region of Covilhã, from subsequently been analyses on laboratory, like on grain sizes analyses, experiments of direct shear and Atterberg Limits. After results was realized a statistical study for obtain multiple correlations that had assurance by effect of the application. On the way, the obtained equations are applied with the results of the present study from the way to verify if the friction angel that result from equations are similar from the results obtain from direct shear test, beyond of the execute a comparison with other equations from different authors. In the end, on last chapter is present the main conclusions and created some considerations about the apply of this equations.
