Abstract(s)
impactos ambientais.
e a arquitetura contemporânea
This dissertation has as main objective the search for solutions for the future of sustainable architecture. It is assumed that sustainable architecture represents all proposals that allow a reduction in the consumption of non-renewable energy and, consequently, the intervention in existing ecosystems, thus being an architectural practice and not a style. This project aims to build sustainable housing, following contemporary architectural lines, even if the framework is in rural areas. The intervention space is located in Braga, more specifically in Vilela, Charil. In the Antunes family for several generations, in addition to a rural area, it is also a fruit and forest garden area. It is intended to promote sustainable architecture, less harmful to the environment. Considering this as the main premise, it is proposed to rethink the choice of construction materials, their reuse, and, also, the possibility of recycling, to optimize resources, promoting the preservation of ecosystems, and minimizing environmental impacts. To obtain better solutions to promote an architecture with a sustainable future, it is also essential to raise awareness and train society to promote good practices. In the construction of buildings, it is essential not only to reduce energy consumption, but also the emission of harmful gases and, therefore, changes are necessary, opting for constructive solutions that minimize environmental impacts and that contribute to a rational architecture and, above all, everything, conscious. Changes in the materials used, as well as in the morphology of the spaces created, giving preference to spaces with ventilation and natural lighting, will be smart options. Therefore, this project proposes a harmony between the use of sustainable materials and contemporary architecture.
