Abstract(s)
O sector têxtil, no desenvolvimento das atividades produtivas, causa impactos à saúde ambiental, não existindo indicadores específicos para mensurá-los. No entanto, alguns críticos/ especialistas da área mencionam a importância dos indicadores de desenvolvimento sustentável para atividades económicas.
Construi-se assim um grupo de indicadores de desenvolvimento sustentável, nas dimensões ambiental, social e económico, para assim dar a conhecer a situação do sector têxtil.
A medição da sustentabilidade corporativa é um tema complexo e fundamental para a operacionalização do desenvolvimento sustentável na rotina diária das organizações.
O objetivo desta dissertação basicamente é determinar o nível de sustentabilidade na indústria têxtil, dando assim a conhecer o conceito de sustentabilidade, desenvolvimento sustentável e suas vertentes, ou seja, as dimensões económica, ambiental e social. São também tratados os indicadores de sustentabilidade (Indicadores Ethos de Responsabilidade Social Empresarial, Indicadores de desenvolvimento sustentável da comissão para Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU (CSD), entre outros,…), os índices de sustentabilidade (Índice Sustentável Empresarial (ISE), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Índice Dow Jones (DJSI), Triple Bottom Line Index System (TBL), entre outros,…).
Foi proposto um índice, e para determinar o peso dos indicadores foi sugerido a utilização do método Delphi. Este método irá ser explicado, e apresentado num caso fictício.
The textile sector, in its development of productive activities causes impacts to environmental health, with no specific indicators to measure them. However, some critics / experts in the field mention the importance of indicators for sustainable development of economic activities. Thus has built a group of indicators for sustainable development in environmental, social and economic dimensions, so as to make known the situation of the textile sector. The measurement of corporate sustainability is a complex and critical for the operationalization of sustainable development into the daily routine of organizations. The objective of this dissertation is basically applying a system of measuring sustainability in the textile industry, thus making known the concept of sustainability, sustainable development and its variations, in other words, the economic, environmental and social dimensions. Are also treated sustainability indicators (Ethos Indicators of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable development indicators of the commission for Sustainable Development (CSD), among others ...), the sustainability indexes (Index Sustainable Enterprise (ISE), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Dow Jones Index (DJSI), Triple Bottom Line Index System (TBL), among others ...). An index has been proposed, and for determining the weight of indicators has been suggested using the Delphi method. This method will be explained, and presented a fictitious case.
