Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho está dividido em duas diferentes partes, as quais foram redigidas
utilizando experiências vivenciadas durante o período de estágios no último ano de curso.
O primeiro capítulo é composto pelo relato da experiência de estágio em Farmácia
Comunitária. Reúne a vivência da realidade de um farmaceutico de oficina que ocorreu
durante o primeiro semestre letivo na Farmácia São Cosme, sita na Covilhã, sob orientação do
Dr. Carlos Tavares. Durante o período de estágio foi possível obter uma série de competências
e conhecimentos, aqui relatados, bem como entender melhor o sistema de saúde português e
o papel que o farmacêutico nele desempenha.
O segundo capítulo faz referência ao período de estágio em investigação, sob supervisão do
Prof. Dr. Samuel Silvestre, no Laboratório de Síntese Química do Centro de Investigação em
Ciências da Saúde, da Universidade da Beira Interior. No presente trabalho, foi utilizada a
adição de Michael para a síntese de novos compostos a partir de esteróides e diferentes
aminas. Os compostos produzidos foram purificados e caracterizados, e posteriormente
realizar-se-à a avaliação de atividade biológica deles em diferentes linhagens celulares.
This work is divided in two diferents parts, which were written about what was experienced in during the final stage of the MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, in the last year. The first chapter consists of the report of internship experience in Community Pharmacy. It brings the experience of the reality of pharmacy professional which occurred during the first semester in São Cosme Pharmacy, located in Covilha, under the guidance of Dr. Carlos Tavares. During the probationary period it was possible to obtain a range of skills and knowledge, reported here, as well as a better understand of the Portuguese health system and the role of pharmacist on it. The second chapter refers to the period of research, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Samuel Silvestre, Laboratory of Chemical Synthesis at the Health Sciences Research Centre, University of Beira Interior. In the present study, we used the Michael addition for the synthesis of new compounds from different steroids and amines. The compounds produced were purified and characterized, and subsequently it will assessed their biological activity against different cell lines.
