A presente dissertação de Mestrado pretende cumprir o desiderato de estudar a relação entre a cultura e a religião no ambiente português, centrando-se eminentemente na análise do fenómeno de Fátima a partir do pensamento e cosmovisão do filósofo, ensaísta e escritor Miguel Real, sob a luz e a hermenêutica de sua obra em especial de Fátima e a Cultura Portuguesa. Procura-se, por conseguinte, perceber a forma como os elementos fenomenológicos e religiosos não só influenciam a sociedade portuguesa como também transformam Fátima num mito cultural.
This Master's thesis aims to fulfill the aim of studying the relationship between culture and religion in the Portuguese environment, focusing eminently on the analysis of the phenomenon of Fátima from the thought and worldview of the philosopher, essayist and writer Miguel Real under the light and hermeneutics of his work. The aim is to understand how phenomenological and religious elements not only influence Portuguese society but also transform Fátima into a cultural myth.
