Desde os desenhos encontrados nas paredes das cavernas na Arte Rupestre até aos nossos dias, a
representação gráfica tem evoluído de uma forma espantosa. Um dos grandes contributos para
este desenvolvimento tem sido a própria evolução tecnológica, que permitiu aperfeiçoar velhas
técnicas e criar novas formas de representação. Uma destas novas formas é a infografia
multimédia, tema deste trabalho.
A infografia resulta da ligação entre representações gráficas e elementos textuais, sendo que
este último pretende ser um complemento e não o fator predominante. Desta forma procura-se
transmitir informação complexa de uma forma eficaz, recorrendo para isso a um conjunto de
regras.
Pretendendo explorar a simplicidade e clareza informativa que a infografia permite na
explicação de fenómenos complexos, neste trabalho é apresentada uma infografia interativa
sobre a Doença de Parkinson. Com ela pretendemos levar aos portadores da doença e seus
familiares e amigos uma informação clara e simples daquilo que se pode esperar e como agir
perante a doença.
Since the drawings found on cave walls in rock art to the present day, the plot has evolved in an amazing way. A major contribution to this development has been the very technological developments which allowed improving old techniques and create new forms of representation. One of these new forms is the multimedia infographics, subject of this work. The results of infographics link between graphical representations and textual elements, the latter intended to be a supplement and not the predominant factor. In this way seeks to transmit information complex effectively, drawing on a set of rules. Wanting to explore the simplicity and clarity informational infographics that allows the explanation of complex phenomena, this paper presents an interactive infographic about Parkinson's Disease. With it we intend to bring to sufferers and their families and friends simple and clear information of what to expect and how to act in the face of disease.
