| dc.description.abstract | As línguas naturais caraterizam-se por serem dinâmicas e aparentemente estáveis. Além da mudança e estabilidade, apresentam-se como sistemas historicamente recursivos. A língua portuguesa não ficou paralisada no histórico século XIII e não se apresenta, em nenhuma fase e local da sua realização, como um sistema homogéneo, pois a sintaxe escrita do português europeu contém aspetos comuns e diferentes da sintaxe escrita do português brasileiro. O recurso a propostas teóricas e metodológicas seguras, como o funcionalismo europeu, a gramática diferencial e a linguística de corpus, tornou possível a elaboração de uma dissertação de natureza funcional cujo foco de abordagem consistiu, exclusivamente, em descrever e explicar os fenómenos atestados nos jornais Público e O Globo a partir de estruturas sintáticas equivalentes. Trata-se, portanto, de uma proposta de gramática de funções e não de uma gramática que se ocupa do que se deveria dizer em Portugal e no Brasil. Com efeito, o português europeu diferencia-se do português brasileiro nos mecanismos de indeterminação do sujeito, nas estruturas perifrásticas formadas com o verbo auxiliar aspetual estar, na sintaxe posicional dos clíticos e nos padrões posicionais dos constituintes nas frases interrogativas totais e parciais. A articulação metodológica estudo sintático sincrónico vs. estudo sintático diacrónico permitiu verificar, por exemplo, que o ele acusativo e o lhe dativo e acusativo do português brasileiro também tinham estes valores sintáticos no português medieval e clássico. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The natural languages are characterized by their dynamics and for being apparently unchanged. Besides the change and stability, they are historically recursive systems. Portuguese language did not get paralyzed in the historical 13th century and is not an homogeneous system, in any phase or place, because the written syntax of the european portuguese and the written syntax of the brazilian portuguese have common and different features. The resort to safe theoretical and methodological proposals, such as the european functionalism, the differential grammar and the corpus linguistics, made possible a dissertation of functional nature which focuses, exclusively, on describing and explaining the occurrences evidenced on the Público and O Globo newspapers from the syntactic equivalent structures. Therefore, it is a grammar of functions proposal and, of course, it is not a grammar that concerns to what should be said in Portugal and in Brazil. Therefore, the european portuguese has its difference from the brazilian portuguese in the subject indetermination mechanisms, in the formed periphrastic structures with the aspectual auxiliary verb estar, in the non syntactic position, in the clitics site and also in the order of the constituents, in the total and partial interrogative sentences. The methodological link between the synchronic study and the diachronic study of syntax allowed us to verify, for instance, that the accusative ele and the dative lhe which is also accusative in the brazilian portuguese hade these same syntactic functions in the medieval and classic portuguese. | eng |
