Abstract(s)
Este relatório consiste num estudo de investigação, acerca da pertinência de utilização de imagens no contexto da aula de Filosofia. Para se obter uma abordagem mais abrangente do tema, estudou-se a imagem desde os primórdios da sua existência, até a actualidade. Desta forma, consegue-se olhar para os seus propósitos, e perceber quais as razões e funções que fundaram a sua existência. Após análise de vários textos e de vários autores teóricos da imagem, recorreu-se a estudos e artigos internacionais para tentar perceber se a sua utilização no contexto da aula de Filosofia é ou não pertinente. Recorreu-se também a um estudo que foi submetido a uma turma de 10.º ano, cujos resultados são analisados. As noções de imagem, ideia, conceito, realidade e representação estão simultânea e constantemente em foco, de forma a tentar justificar argumentos que sustentam a utilização da imagem no ensino. Não obstante, as conclusões obrigam-nos a ser cautos no que se refere à utilização de imagens no ensino.
This report is about the pertinence of the images used in the context of the class of philosophy. In order to acquire a more comprehensive approach of the issue, I studied the sources of the pictures from its birth in ancient tombs, until the present. Thus, it is possible to understand their nature, and realize the reasons and functions that founded their use. After examining several image theories, various studies and articles, I tried to understand if their use in the context of classroom philosophy is relevant or not. It was done also a questionnaire / case study to the class of 10th year, in order to try to support the theory, but the results were not fully conclusive. The image, his relation with the idea, the concept, reality and representation were constantly in focus; thus I tried to justify the arguments that support the use of the image on teaching. Nevertheless, the findings compel us to be cautious regarding the use of images in philosophy.
