| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho foi realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Física e Química no 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, o qual pretende demonstrar a importância da volumetria ácido-base na aquisição de conhecimentos e melhor compreensão sobre o equilíbrio ácido-base por parte dos alunos. Este relatório inicia-se com uma revisão bibliográfica, que realça a importância da volumetria ácido-base em análises químicas quantitativas. A evolução das teorias ácido-base, aqui sucintamente descrita, permite a compreensão e previsão do comportamento de ácidos e bases quando reagem entre si. As diferentes curvas de titulação ácido-base são identificadas, bem como os respetivos indicadores ácido-base que fornecem indicações sobre a extensão do equilíbrio ácido-base. Como alternativa aos indicadores sintéticos, faz-se alusão ao uso de corantes naturais. Expõe-se o valor da experimentação no ensino da ciência, no sentido de melhorar a aprendizagem dos alunos e aumentar a sinergia entre alunos e professores. É apresentado um plano de aula, e os respetivos recursos a utilizar, com vista à lecionação do tema “Volumetria ácido-base”, inserido na Subunidade “Águas minerais e de abastecimento público: a acidez e a basicidade das águas” da Unidade 2 “Da atmosfera ao Oceano: Soluções na Terra e para a Terra”, pertencente à componente de Química da disciplina de Física e Química A do 11.º ano do Ensino Secundário. São igualmente expostas as Atividades Curriculares e de Complemento Curricular desenvolvidas no decorrer da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada nas componentes de Física e Química e aplicadas em diversas disciplinas e turmas de ensino pedagógico diferente. Como reflexão final do trabalho desenvolvido, considera-se que foram adquiridos novos conhecimentos e estratégias relativas ao processo ensino/aprendizagem. | dc.description.abstract | This work was performed to obtain the Master Degree in Teaching Physics and Chemistry in 3 rd. Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, which aims to demonstrate the importance of acid-base titrimetry in order to the students understand the respective chemical equilibrium. This report begins with a literature review, which highlights the importance of acid-base volumetry in quantitative chemical analysis. The evolution of the acid-base theory briefly described here allows the understanding and prediction of the behavior of acids and bases when they react with each other. The different acid-base titration curves are identified as well as the respective acid-base indicators which provide information on the extent of equilibria in solution. As an alternative to synthetic indicators, the use of natural dyes is referred. The value of experimentation in science education is explained, to improve students learning and to increase the synergy between students and teachers. A lecture plan is presented as well as the respective resources aiming the teaching item. “Acid-base volumetry”, located in the Subunit " Mineral waters and public water supply: the acidity and alkalinity of the water in Unit 2. "From the atmosphere to the ocean: solutions on the Earth and to the Earth ", bellowing to the component of Chemistry of the course Physics and Chemistry A of the 11th . Curricular Activities and Additional Curriculum are also exposed which are to be developed during the Supervised Teaching Practice in the components of Physics and Chemistry and applied in various disciplines and classes with different pedagogical way of teaching. As a final remark, it is intended that new insights and strategies for the teaching/learning process are obtained, considering this is an ongoing process to enrich the human being, which enables to grow both personally and professionally. | |
