Abstract(s)
No
apresentados e objetivos cumpridos.
This report is divided into three chapters. The first provides a brief theoretical framework of the history of stop motion animation, where three topics are covered: i) the presence of the desire for movement throughout the history of art; ii) the discovery and development of stop motion animation; iii) the various sub-techniques of stop motion animation. The second chapter introduces the entire process of creating (A)stray, detailing all the pre-production stages inherent in the conception of an academic film, exploring everything from the emergence of the ideas that led to the concept of the short film, to the construction of all the characters, elements and scenarios. The third chapter deals with the entire shooting process and is divided into two parts: i) presentation and justification of the Directing decisions; ii) presentation and justification of the Direction of Photography options. The fourth chapter describes the post-production phase, showing the entire editing process as well as the sound and soundtrack editing. Finally, this report also presents personal reflections on the consequences of a project done almost “single-handedly, exposing difficulties experienced, obstacles encountered, and objectives achieved.
