Abstract(s)
O presente documento é o relatório do estágio pedagógico referente à conclusão do
prática docente no contexto educativo e escolar. A atividade e intervenção pedagógica
ano) e no ensino secundário (12º ano).
As aulas online
velocidade e agilidade, e a melhoria do salto horizontal.
The current document is the report of the pedagogical internship regarding the Master's Degree in Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education carried out in the academic year 2020/2021. The pedagogical internship was carried out at the Regional School Dr Dinis da Fonseca- Outeiro de S. Miguel Guarda. This report aimed at the development of teaching practice in the educational and school context. The activity and pedagogical intervention were centred on two teaching cycles, namely the 3rd cycle of basic education (9th year) and secondary education (12th year). The activity involved planning, teaching and evaluation tasks of several teaching units, as well as it was possible to teach Physical Education in distance classes. The online classes were developed in the context of a pandemic of covid- 19 that lasted since March 2019. In addition to the teaching-learning process, it was possible to contact with tasks inherent to the direction of the class, to understand the dynamic and participate in the modality of school sports (volleyball), as well as participating in activities involving the school community. Complementing the pedagogical internship, an investigation was carried out to verify the effect of physical education classes taught at a distance, during a period of confinement with a duration of 8 weeks consisting of 16 training sessions, on the physical fitness of students. Cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength and flexibility were analyzed through the application of the FITescola ® test battery before and after the period of distance classes. The results showed different responses between 9th grade and 12th-grade students regarding the analyzed variables. When comparing school years, in secondary education, improvement in cardiorespiratory fitness, reduced speed and agility, and improved horizontal jump were observed. The 9th-grade students showed improvements in running speed and push-ups. Considering the entire sample, we should also mention that physical education classes held online were important for the maintenance or improvement of students' physical fitness. This investigation also came to present an exercise program that is easily applicable to all physical education classes and can motivate the student in a short period of the class and with positive results.
