Abstract(s)
O objectivo deste projecto é a explicação detalhada do processo de dimensionamento de um motor foguete de combustível sólido.
É feito um estudo dos parâmetros iniciais de cálculo, optimização, dimensionamento do grão, selecção da tubeira e a concepção do sistema de ignição. Além disso, é feito um estudo das actuações do foguete devido às
hipóteses iniciais de simplificação do estudo, assim como o desenho CAD dos
componentes principais do foguete e as suas dimensões finais mais importantes.
The objective of this Project is a detailed explanation of the design process of a rocket engine propelled by solid propellant. It includes a study of the initial parameters of calculation, optimization, design of grain, nozzle selection and design of the ignition system. Furthermore, this Project includes simulation of the performance of the rocket engine due to the initial assumptions to simplify the study, as well as the CAD design of the rocket main parts and its final most important measures.
