| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho encontra-se dividido em dois capítulos. O primeiro capítulo intitulase “Terapêutica da Covid-19 – A importância da Farmacovigilância”. O segundo, referese ao relatório de estágio curricular em Farmácia Comunitária O primeiro capítulo apresenta a análise dos dados das respetivas notificações das reações adversos aos medicamentos utilizados no tratamento da Covid-19, entre 1 de dezembro de 2019 a 17 de junho de 2020. As notificações foram classificadas tendo em conta o tipo de notificador, a idade e o género. No que diz respeito à caracterização das reações adversas aos medicamentos, foi avaliada a gravidade, os critérios de gravidade, se as Reações Adversas ao Medicamento (RAM) se encontram descritas ou não na literatura e, para além disso, foi feita uma caracterização pormenorizada nos casos onde o critério de gravidade foi incapacidade, hospitalização, risco de vida e morte. As notificações que continham termos Important Medical Event (IME) e Designated Medical Event (DME) foram analisadas e caracterizadas. Por fim, foi também caracterizada a evolução do estado clínico do utente. Durante este período foram avaliadas 273 notificações, constituídas maioritariamente por indivíduos do sexo masculino (60%), com idades compreendidas entre os 60 e 79 anos (42%). A maior parte dos casos foram classificados como graves (88%) e os farmacêuticos foram os profissionais de saúde responsáveis pelo maior número de notificações (68%). Do ponto de vista geral, os casos suspeitos de reação adversa aos medicamentos que apresentavam maior prevalência estavam inseridos nos System Organ Classes (SOC) investigação (24%), afeções hepáticas e hepatobiliares (21%) e doenças renais e urinárias (13%). Quanto aos medicamentos, o remdesivir e a hidroxicloroquina foram os mais comumente reportados. Este estudo reforça a importância da farmacovigilância na deteção e monitorização de sinais e sintomas de risco, de forma a consciencializar e a ter uma noção mais exata da realidade dos efeitos adversos associados aos medicamentos usados no tratamento da Covid-19. O segundo capítulo refere-se ao relatório de estágio curricular em Farmácia Comunitário, que decorreu na Farmácia Prates e Mota em Lisboa, sob orientação da Dra. Vera Torégão Costa Santos, entre 7 de fevereiro a 17 de junho de 2022. Neste capítulo, encontram-se descritas todas as atividades inerentes ao papel do farmacêutico comunitário, os aspetos legais intrínsecos ao funcionamento de uma farmácia e a experiência profissional aqui adquirida. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This work is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is entitled “Therapeutics of Covid-19 – The importance of Pharmacovigilance”. The second refers to the curricular internship report in Community Pharmacy. The first chapter presents the data analysis of the respective notifications of adverse reactions to medication used in the treatment of Covid-19, between December 1, 2019, and June 17, 2020. The notifications were classified considering the type of notifier, the age and the gender. Regarding the characterization of the adverse reactions, the seriousness, seriousness criteria, whether Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) are described or not in the literature, were all evaluated and in addition, a detailed characterization was carried out in the cases where the seriousness criteria was incapacity, hospitalization, risk of life and death. Notifications containing the terms Important Medical Event (IME) and Designated Medical Event (DME) were analysed and characterized. Finally, the evolution of the patient’s clinical status was also characterized. During this period, 273 notifications were evaluated, consisting mostly of males (60%), aged between 60 and 79 years (42%). Most cases were classified as serious (88%), and pharmacists were the health professionals responsible for the highest number of notifications (68%). From a general point of view, the suspected cases of adverse reaction, to the more prevalent medication, were included in the System Organ Classes (SOC) investigation (24%), hepatobiliary disorders (21%) and renal and urinary disorders (13%). As for the medications, remdesivir and hydroxychloroquine were the most reported. This study reinforces the importance of pharmacovigilance in the detection and monitoring of risk signs and symptoms, to raise awareness and have a more accurate idea of the reality of the adverse effects associated with the medication used in the treatment of Covid-19. The second chapter refers to the curricular internship report in Community Pharmacy, which took place at Farmácia Prates e Mota in Lisbon, under the guidance of Dra. Vera Torégão Costa Santos, from February 7 to June 17, 2022. This chapter describes all the activities inherent to the role of community pharmacist, the legal aspects intrinsic to the functioning of a pharmacy and the professional experience acquired. | eng |
