dc.description.abstract	O espaço urbano da atualidade apresenta-se em constante modificação, visto que vai respondendo às necessidades da população, que também ela se vai alterando. A população fixa-se cada vez mais junto às periferias, levando consigo todos os serviços que necessitam. Assim, os centros históricos encontram-se num estado de profunda degradação. Estes espaços, de grande riqueza histórica e cultural, passam a ser um local muito desvalorizado por parte da população. Para combater este fenómeno, o centro histórico tem sido alvo de grande preocupação. Esta dissertação, vai ter em consideração esta problemática, assentando no tema da Luz. A luz, a matéria que orienta todo o espaço arquitetónico. A responsável pela perceção do espaço, pela imagem. Serão referenciados todos os componentes que influenciam as suas diferentes perceções. Na dissertação constará uma proposta de intervenção num espaço urbano, ou seja no centro histórico de Monsanto, tendo em conta o conceito da luz. Pretende-se criar espaços urbanos interessantes e agradáveis e que incentivem o turismo, a atividade económica que mais predomina na aldeia.	por
dc.description.abstract	Actually, the urban space is all time in modification, because the needs of the populations is changing too. The population lives at the periphery, which taking all the services they need. Therefore, the historical centers are in a state of deep degradation. These areas of great historical and cultural wealth become a very devalued by the local population. To combat this, the historic center has been much concern. This work will take into account this problem, building on the theme of Light. The light is the substance that guides all architectural space. Light is the responsible for the perception of space, by the image. It will be indicating to all components that influence their perceptions. In the dissertation will include a proposal for intervention in an urban area, in the historical center of Monsanto, taking into account the concept of light. It will want to create urban spaces interesting, enjoyable and that encourage tourism, economic activity that predominates in the village.
