Esta pesquisa se propõe a analisar o filme Dasipe: O Festar Xerente. Do indígena Serekmõrõte
Akwe Xerente, o vídeo foi produzido em 2011, como registro da cerimônia tradicional
homônima, cujo objetivo é a nominação de crianças Akwe. O vídeo foi analisado da perspectiva
de uma experiência do uso de tecnologias por indígenas para valorizar a sua cultura resgatando
o próprio conceito de cidadania. Os procedimentos metodológicos incluíram a análise do filme,
pesquisas bibliográficas e entrevistas exploratórias com especialista e o autor do filme, estudo
de caso desta pesquisa. A sistematização permitiu refletir acerca da representação do índio no
cinema e na sociedade brasileira. Fez-se uma discussão sobre o Cinema Indígena, abordando o
processo de descolonização do Terceiro Cinema, como transferência do uso de tecnologia para
os povos indígenas. Finaliza-se o estudo compreendendo que o uso de ferramentas tecnológicas
pode representar pontes para a produção e troca de conhecimentos entre os povos.
This research aims to analyze the film Dasipe: O Festar Xerente. From the Xerente indigenous Serekmõrõte Akwe, the video was produced in 2011 as a record of the traditional homonym ceremony that has the purpose to name the Akwe children. The video was analyzed from the perspective of an experience of the use of technologies by indigenous people to value their culture, rescuing the very concept of citizenship. The methodological procedures included the analysis of the film, bibliographic researches and exploratory interviews with specialists including the author of the film which is the object of study in this research. The systematization has permitted to reflect on the representation of the Indigenous in Brazilian cinema and society. A discussion about Indigenous Cinema has been made in order to mention the process of decolonization of the Third Cinema to transfer the technology use of it to indigenous peoples. The study ends with the understanding that the use of technological tools can represent bridges for the production and exchange of knowledge among peoples.
