Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho visa demonstrar a importância da leitura numa perspectiva transversal ao desenvolvimento de competências várias, podendo ser esta uma ferramenta indispensável para a concretização de um projecto de vida.
O estudo elaborado centrou-se na obra: “A Menina do Mar” de Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, cuja proposta assenta no programa de 5º ano de escolaridade.
Reflectimos ainda sobre o conceito de leitura, a motivação, os modelos explicativos do processo, bem como o papel da compreensão.
Desenvolvemos uma panóplia de actividades que, segundo Yopp & Yopp (2006) desenvolvem as competências literácitas e literárias dos alunos. Procedemos, ainda, à respectiva avaliação.
This work demonstrates the importance of reading in a horizontal approach to the development of various competencies, which could be an indispensable tool for the realization of a life project. This study focused on the book: "The Girl of the Sea" by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen which is a proposal for the 5 th grade programme. We also reflected on the concept of reading, motivation, current models of the process and the role of understanding. We had developed a range of activities that, according to Yopp & Yopp develop student’s literary skills. We also evaluated them.
