Abstract(s)
execução do editorial/campanha.
Styling is an aesthetic discipline applied to the construction of images, which is present throughout all media channels and consumed daily, even if discreetly. That being said and taking into account the preferred styling area, as well as my Bachelors in Fashion Design, an opportunity of performing a curricular internship with the stylist Filipe Carriço arose, which led to the development of this project, where a display of the different approaches to styling will be showcased, both in a theoretical way, as well as practical projects that were conducted during the internship, which contributed to a better understanding and the transition of these concepts, within a professional sphere. Through the use of a bibliographical recollection, the first part of the project explores the origin of the research topic, as well as its evolution and the different typologies and associated subjects, such as magazines and fashion photography. The second part will take into account the analysis of the different styling techniques developed throughout the internship, in order to present the adaptation of the process to each of the projects, from the research part, process of shopping, all the way until the execution of the editorial/campaign. These jobs might be more connected to the fashion topic, in a general way, or to a more commercial angle. From the analysis of the conducted projects and comparing to the theoretical information previously collected, conclusions were drawn in what regards the practical procedures applied to the projects within the field research.
