Abstract(s)
Idade do tipo Exsudativo.
A paciente iniciou
terapêutica medicamentosa tópica.
There was a diversified clinical practice over six months os observational internship in Ophthalmogy Clinic of Beira Inteior with the porpuse of completing a Master’s degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences. This report brought together three specific clinical cases with diferente etiologies. The first clinical case addressed a case of Exudative Age Related Macular Degeneration. This pathology was detected through decreased visual acuity due to non-refractive causes, leading to the need to perform complementary tests. In this case, the treatment indicated for the stage of the stage of disease, fel on the administration of intravitreal injections of antiangiogenics, as a way to halt/improve its progression. In the case of Pterigyum, the patient reported low visual acuity of the affected eye, associated with the performation that this patology caused at the cornea. Thus, the most indicated treatment was to perform surgery, in na outpatient clinic, for excision of the Pterigyum. Finally, the case of Glaucomatous Neuropathy in a patient with Pseudoexfoliative Syndrome was detected in a routine examination. This condition was possible to diagnose, through the observation of the anterior pole, the ocular fundus, performing OCT and PEC. The patient strated topical medication.
