Esta Dissertação centra-se na área envolvente ao Rio Tua, mais propriamente no troço Tua – Cachão e foi desenvolvida no âmbito de projecto final de curso de Arquitectura da Universidade da Beira Interior, com o objectivo de intervir e contribuir para a resolução de um problema polémico, para uma desenvolvimento económico, social e cultural da região mantendo a sua sustentabilidade.
Deste projecto observa-se um primeiro momento onde existe uma análise do problema existente e caracterização do local, para uma fase seguinte salienta-se a solução proposta, dando uma noção de um projecto pratico seguindo as noções de turismo.
Assim, forma formuladas algumas propostas de intervenção, nomeadamente a criação de um percurso alternativo e infra-estruturas de apoio ao mesmo, para visar uma gestão equilibrada de desenvolvimento local, de forma a contribuir para uma melhoria da qualidade de vida das populações locais.
This Dissertation is focused on the river Tua surrounding area, more properly in the zone between Tua and Cachão and it was developed during the final project in Architecture in University of Beira Interior. The purpose of this intervention is to contribute for a better resolution of a controversial problem, for a better economic, social and cultural growth in the area, keeping the sustainability issue. In a first moment, this project analyzes the character of the area and the existent problem in order to provide the proper solution for the next stage, giving a notion of the practical project following notions of tourism. Therefore, it was formulated some intervention proposal, in particular a creation of an alternative route and its infrastructures support, to aim a balanced management of the developed area, contributing for an improved life’s quality of the local populations.
