Abstract(s)
A utilização do
A implementação
No
Reconnaissance and forest surveillance mission is one of many tasks performed by UAVs. With the introduction of these unmanned aircraft in civil airspace, certain safety measures must be fulfilled in a way that other aircrafts, that share the same airspace, aren’t put in danger. UAV Skyguardian is a project being developed by UBI/DCA and serves as basis for study of this work. UAV Skyguardian to perform reconnaissance and forest surveillance mission in a secure way is embedded the RAMS process with the aim of developing a reliability model and maintenance concept. RAMS process implementation, during the initial phase of the project, allows to establish the necessary parameters for the detailed development of UAV Skyguardian project and build the continuing airworthiness instructions. Under RAMS process it was defined a system configuration and a operation profile for the aircraft. The reliability model was developed, allowing to obtain a estimate for the aircraft Skyguardian. In the maintenance concept were identified some factors of great importance for the aircraft sustained operation and future construction of the continuing airworthiness instructions. During reliability model and maintenance concept implementation, were also found difficulties regarding the lack of information to estimate the aircraft reliability and to define, in a more detail manner, the maintenance concept. To overcome this lack, programmes should be implemented for gathering necessary information to update the reliability model and thus obtain a more realistic value of reliability. The proposed maintenance concept defines some guidelines, allowing subsequently establishing a plan for maintenance and logistic support to maintain and operate the aircraft during its life cycle.
