Abstract(s)
Surge, deste modo, a imagem
enquanto complemento dessas mesmas palavras.
Apresentaremos, ainda, o projeto visual designado Ilustração do Dia, desenvolvido desde o dia
The purpose of the present project report is to focus our attention on the topic of illustration and the scope of its language. We will describe subject matters such as its present context or even the meaning of the retrospection and transition occurred throughout the time. Discussing illustration leads, equally, to discussing the complex and mysterious relationship between images and narratives. We acknowledge that not everything that is thought can be put into words making them, at times, quite soundless. Thus the image works necessarily as a complement to these same words. We will also present the visual project named Illustration of the Day, developed thoroughly from the 1st of January 2016 to the 30th of June of the same year, without any day of pause or interruption. The main goal of this project consists of carrying out an illustration per day, motivated by some object that somehow represents that same day, as a way of creating a continuous and gradual exercise. Therefore, this visual experiment corresponds, precisely, to 182 final illustrations each representing this 182-day creation period. Consequently, we will approach its process as well as the outcome that has derived from all the work that was accomplished. For this reason, the present report, besides reflecting the key concepts of the study carried out and presenting the developed visual project, granted the opportunity to consolidate knowledge and to increase the personal experience in the field of illustration.
