Abstract(s)
o ranking da Great Place Work (GPTW).
Sustainable human resource management (HRM) takes into account the health of employees and entities involved in the operation of the organization, supports environmentally friendly practices and the development of the organization and its employees, their well-being, encouraged for the improvement of skills, abilities and values, emphasizing fair treatment, which increases employee confidence and enthusiasm. The employer brand, on the other hand, refers to the confidence that the company has as an employer, associated with the values it has for its employees. In the same direction, great places to work are the result of strategies and initiatives that are intended to engage, attract and retain employees. The present study analyzed the impact of the employer brand on sustainable HRM in some of the best companies to work for in Brazil according to the Great Place Work (GPTW) ranking. A qualitative investigation was carried out, using multiple cases, through the study of 3 organizations ranked by GPTW Brazil in the year 2022, making use of interviews with a leader of each company and 8 workers who do not exercise leadership functions, being three in the first company, two in the second and three in the third company. After analyzing the results, it seems consistent to state that the best companies to work for are those that have an employer brand and a sustainable HRM present. It was concluded, however, that despite the companies being in a prestigious ranking, not all of them have the expected characteristics to be there, with a path, for one of the abandoned companies, still long, to be trodden in the search for effectively becoming a excellent place to work.
