Abstract(s)
investimento.
Nowadays the world industry, due to globalization is under constant pressure to improve their competencies in order their business models are more profitable and competitive, thus this situation has become the driver of a 4th Industrial Revolution, associated with a technological mosaic in which stands out the Internet of Things and the Cyber-Physical Systems, towards to reduce the operating costs of companies, making them more efficient and competitive. The Industry 4.0 and his associated concepts are new, producing training needs for the future professionals and for the current assets, otherwise, they will not be implemented efficiently. The Learning Factory concept, although recent, is considered an effective process of teaching, training and investigation through a practical model that transposes the reality of the industry, being able to be a key piece in the transition process for this new paradigm. The aim of this work is to present a proposal for the implementation of a Learning Factory based on the context of Industry 4.0, at the Universidade da Beira Interior, linked to rapid prototyping. FabLab's proposal to transform into a Learning Factory can serve as a guideline for a future investment project, as it is aligned with the recently published bibliography, where it was possible to verify that there are several governmental and business initiatives for the implementation of Industry 4.0, as well as the proliferation of Learning Factories worldwide, serving as a basis for this investment.
