Abstract(s)
This report presents the development of three clinical cases of Optometry conducted during the internship, they were: suspicion of detachment / traction of the vitreous, anomaly of binocular vision (convergence) and adaptation of toric soft contact lenses. The first clinical event is raised from a patient with an ocular condition, in which a multitude of tests in accordance with the needs of him were performed and the results obtained conducted the patient to an ophthalmologist, since there is a suspicion of detachment/traction of the vitreous in order to be performed diagnostic procedures, but this case had a good prognosis. The second clinical case is of the binocular vision, various tests were made and their corresponding analysis, having been diagnosed with an anormality in the convergence related to the patient performing. Was then prepared a plan of visual therapy for the same, which it was proposed to him, as it is the best therapy and that has a best prognosis. The third case is the adaptation of toric soft contact lenses, the patient is already user, but after consultation we had to choose a new contact lens, because the other one don´t cover the new graduation. As we had to change the parameters, we verified a rotation in the lens of the right eye, but after we compensated this rotation he recovered him visual acuity value.
