Abstract(s)
do Grupo PSA.
O ponto
abordado nesta tese foi o Standardized Work.
This dissertation was prepared in an industrial environment at the Mangualde Production Center of the PSA Group. Its objective is to study the workstations of an assembly line in order to eliminate waste and increase operational efficiency. With an increasingly competitive market, it is necessary for companies to eliminate all actions that do not add value to the product in order to increase profit. The point discussed in this thesis was the Standardized Work. It was found that there was no standardized work and that before proposing any kind of improvement it would be necessary to make the results replicable for other shifts. The jobs were analyzed for 2 shifts. Cycle times were recorded for the most significant produced diversities, as well as sequences / chronologies of operations. With this data it would be possible to say which operator had the best "Know How" of the station and if its way of working had to be applied to the other shifts. With the data removed it was also possible to update the times defined in the standard sheets, so that in the future the balancing of jobs would be done in a more correct way. The results obtained and proposals for improvement showed that it was possible to reduce the cycle time in the work steps, mainly in the bottleneck of the analyzed sector, causing the operating efficiency to reach the proposed goal of 97.4%.
