Atualmente, torna-se insurgente promover a melhoria de produtos e a otimização de
processos, de modo a manter a empresa no mercado, com elevada competitividade.
A realização deste estágio visa a melhoria do controlo de qualidade da etapa de secagem
da pasta solúvel. Para que isso fosse possível, foi elaborada uma revisão bibliográfica
acerca das temáticas relevantes e apresentada a empresa e o seu processo produtivo.
Nunca esquecendo a análise estatística de várias variáveis da máquina relacionadas com
a humidade e a gramagem, os pilares deste caso de estudo.
Com o objetivo de colmatar ou minimizar os problemas detetados aplicaram-se
metodologias 3C, de modo a identificar as causas e referenciar as contramedidas em
questão. Assim, torna-se crucial, a criação de uma Matriz de esforço e impacto,
priorizando a implementação das ações sugeridas para promover uma uniformização de
gramagem, um perfil de humidade constante e melhores condições de trabalho para
aquela secção e para todos os trabalhadores. Apresentam-se ainda, algumas propostas
de ações de melhoria contínua para estudos complementares posteriores aos sugeridos
neste trabalho.
Em suma, torna-se insurgente aumentar rotinas preventivas por parte do departamento
de manutenção, assim como a resolução de problemas na fase inicial da secagem e na
formação de folha.
Nowadays, it has become insurgent to promote product improvement and process optimization, to maintain the company in the market, with high competitiveness. This work aims to improve quality control in the dissolving pulp drying stage. To make this possible, a bibliographical review was prepared on the relevant topics and an overview of the company, and its production process were presented. Never forgetting the statistical analysis of several machine variables related to humidity and grammage, the pillars of this case study. With the aim of solving or minimizing the problems detected, 3C methodologies were applied, in order to identify the causes and reference the countermeasures in question. Therefore, it is crucial to create an effort and impact Matrix, prioritizing the implementation of the suggested actions to promote uniform grammage, a constant humidity profile and better working conditions for that section and for all workers. Some proposals for continuous improvement actions are also presented for additional studies following those suggested in this work. In short, it is essential to increase preventive routines by the maintenance department, as well as problem solving in the initial phase of drying and sheet formation.
