dc.description.abstract	A reabilitação de edifícios antigos tem vindo a adquirir interesse numa perspectiva que é, simultaneamente, relacionável com a necessidade de promover a preservação do património arquitectónico. Neste contexto, este projecto pretende recuperar e requalificar uma antiga Fábrica de Lanifícios, na cidade da Covilhã. Esta necessita de refazer a sua memória colectiva, enquanto cidade que se especializou na indústria dos lanifícios, desde o século XV até à actualidade. Apesar das suas sucessivas alterações de fisionomia, mantém aspectos característicos do seu património industrial, e aspectos urbanos muito próprios. Contudo, as transformações ocorridas nos últimos anos, quer a nível tecnológico e industrial, quer a nível paisagístico, têm vindo a modificar, com maior incidência, a qualidade do tecido urbano industrial e a banalizar soluções degradativas da paisagem, das quais a cidade da Covilhã não retira benefícios em termos de património cultural.	por
dc.description.abstract	The rehabilitation of old buildings has gained interest from a perspective that is both correlated to the need to promote the preservation of architectural heritage. In this context, this project aims to restore and upgrade an old wool factory in the city of Covington. This needs to redo its collective memory, as the city that specializes in the wool industry since the fifteenth century to the present. Despite its successive changes of physiognomy, maintains the characteristic features of its industrial heritage and urban aspects of its own. However, the changes occurring in recent years, both in technology and industry, both at the landscape have been changing, with more emphasis, the quality of urban and industrial solutions trivialize degrading the landscape, which the city of Covilhã not off benefits in terms of cultural heritage.
