Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação tem como objetivo trazer à colação uma temática muito
atual baseada na problemática da deficiência. A desigualdade, exclusão e discriminação,
são episódios que ocorrem no dia-a-dia das pessoas com necessidades especiais, tendo a
sociedade um papel importante para o desenvolvimento pessoal e social de cada um de
nós, com vista a construir valores e atitudes de igualdade.
Neste sentido, e de forma a combater a exclusão das pessoas com necessidades
especiais na sociedade, é necessário ultrapassar as barreiras existentes, por forma a que
estas pessoas possam usufruir dos recursos existentes, e neste caso concreto, os de âmbito
cultural. Impõe-se aqui um grande desafio para gerar e garantir uma equiparação de
oportunidades para as pessoas com ou sem necessidades especiais, com o objetivo da
participação cívica de todos e de uma melhor qualidade de vida.
Com a finalidade de promover a inclusão à cultura, sem exceção,
independentemente da sua condição, esta dissertação pretende contribuir e sensibilizar
todos os responsáveis pelas áreas culturais, para criarem condições de acessibilidade nas
diversas áreas da cultura, de acordo com as dificuldades de cada cidadão.
The present essay aims to bring to collation a very important theme based on the problematic of deficiency. The unequality, exclusion and descrimination happen in the daily lifebof people with special needs, having the society na important role in the personal and social development of each one of us, in order to build values and attitudes of equality. In this case, and to fight the exclusion of people with special needs, it is necessary to overcome the existing barriers so that these people may enjoy the existing resources and in this particular case, the cultural ones. It is an enormous challenge to generate and to ensure the matching of opportunities to people, with or without special needs with the purpose of civic participation of all and to a better quality of life. To promote the inclusion and right to the culture, without any exception, regardeless of our own condition, this work wants to contribute and to raise awareness in all those responsable for the cultural areas, to create conditions of accessability in the different areas of culture, according to the difficulties of each citizen.
